I am Sandra Zschach, a dedicated leadership coach, experienced executive, and travel enthusiast with a passion for growth and development.
I began my professional journey as an Account Manager at a Berlin travel-tech startup and quickly advanced to become Head of Operations, and then CEO—all within five years.
With real-world experience, I've navigated the challenges of leading a company through crises and major transitions, such as the impact of COVID-19 and a merger. These experiences, though challenging, have helped me grow significantly as a leader.
Now, as a leadership coach, I am dedicated to helping emerging and experienced leaders invest in their development and improve their leadership skills. By sharing the knowledge and insights I've gained, I aim to support others in navigating their own leadership challenges.

I focus on helping both experienced and emerging leaders enhance their leadership skills and build a strong foundation for their leadership journey.
My approach to leadership is personalized, tailoring strategies to fit unique team dynamics, individual values, strengths, and weaknesses.
I believe the best leaders are learners. They are willing to try new things, open to making mistakes, and learn from challenges they encounter. They are not all-knowing but all-learning. They are open to feedback and have the ability to self-reflect.
So, I encourage all leaders to invest in themselves, embrace feedback, and constantly develop their leadership skills to grow into the best leaders they can be.
Experience as CEO & Leader
As a former CEO and active leader myself, I have encountered many leadership challenges and learned how to overcome them.
I have extensive experience leading diverse, international teams both in-person and remotely.
Specifically in my role as CEO of a dynamic startup I drove the company to profitability, led annual strategy sessions to set the company’s direction, and navigated the complexities of conflicting priorities.
My leadership journey involved constant recruitment, fostering sustained growth in bootstrapping mode, and motivating a diverse team, all while focussing strongly on results and maintaining a keen eye on profitability.
This hands-on experience has shaped my approach as a leadership coach, allowing me to empower others with real-world insights and strategies.

While being a leader of various teams in a variety of roles including as CEO, Chief of Staff, Chief People Officer, and Head of Operations I have been coached and mentored by brilliant people.

Travel Enthusiast
In addition to my passion for leadership, I am an avid traveler who has visited over 40 countries. I've cherished the diverse cultures, cuisines, and landscapes of each place. I love the food in Asia, the wildlife in Africa, the music and energy of South and Central America, the culture in Europe, and the national parks in North America.
Being exposed to different cultures is an opportunity for learning – about the place you visit and about yourself.
Traveling is about the journey, just like leadership. Skipping to the final destination wouldn’t be as insightful or transformational as being on the entire journey.

Coaching Principles
These are principles that shape our coaching relationship. I believe they make you gain most out of your coaching experience and move you closer to your leadership goals.
1. Focus on You
It is key to understand your values, strengths, and weaknesses to shape your unique leadership style. Beyond that, we work on topics important to you, aiming to achieve the goals you have set for being a leader. I will listen to your views and ideas, remaining curious about your aims and approaches.
2. Champion Proactivity
Your success comes from taking action. The more effort you invest, the more you will gain from our coaching. I will guide you to clarify your goals and next steps. From there, you are in charge of making them a reality.

To maximize our sessions it is great to be punctual and prepared. I review our past exchanges to ensure I am clear on where we are on your leadership journey. You know what you want to achieve and need from our session. That way, together, we use our time effectively to move closer to your goals.
4. Embrace Change
Change is essential for growth. It can mean setting a new goal or undergoing a mindset shift leading to different behaviours. Regardless, you need to believe it to make it a reality. As your leadership coach, I will support you through the changes you choose to undertake.

Challenges foster growth. They push you out of your comfort zone and promote personal and professional development. Therefore, I ask questions and choose to challenge you to help you move forward.
